VDL - Real Skin Foundation Review
The VDL - Real Skin Foundation is described as a lightweight premium foundation that captures the radiance of your skin and enhances skin's natural glow. This foundation has SPF 30, PA++ and contains 30 mL of product. A break down of my experience with this foundation and how well it wears.
Shade
The shade I've received was in A03 which is described as a neutral undertone. They have 6 shades in total. Despite it being a neutral undertone, it blended in quite well into my skin as I am on the warmer side. If I had to compare, this would be close to an NC20 - NC25 in the M.A.C. studio fix.
Cost
The cost of this foundation retails for $59.00 AUD and can be purchased from Boniik Beauty.
Texture
This has a very light weight texture. It can be built up to a medium coverage without feeling too heavy. When blended in, it looks like your second skin and will appear like you are not wearing any foundation. Despite it having a thinner consistency, it did not emphasise my pores or texture.
Wear Time
This foundation has a good wear time of 6-8 hours without the product breaking down.
Made In
Foundation was made in Korea.
Recommendations
For this foundation, it would be more suited for normal to dry skin type. Despite being more on the combination side of things, I did enjoy wearing this for when my skin was feeling more dry. It did not emphasise any texture and glided on smoothly. If you are oily and would like to try this foundation, you will need to use an oil controlling primer and will need to set it with a powder. The VDL - Real Skin Foundation does look like my skin but better with a luminous glow from within.
Improvements
One of the things in which this foundation can improve on is the shade range. The darkest it goes up by I would say is a M.A.C. studio fix NC30/NW30.
